Misterton Conclave No.520 – Installation Meeting

Misterton Conclave No.520 gathered at Lutterworth Masonic Hall on Wednesday 13th August for the annual Installation meeting. With improvement works still underway at the hall, the meeting took place under temporary subdued lighting, a circumstance that, rather than detract, added a sense of sincerity and calm to the ceremony.

More than thirty members of the Order of the Secret Monitor were present to witness Martin Sercombe conclude a successful year in the chair. He formally passed the baton to Paul Spokes, who brings fresh ideas, enthusiasm, and a clear commitment to guiding the Conclave forward in the year ahead.

The Conclave was honoured by the attendance of several members of the Provincial Team, including Ray Ellis, Head of the Order in the East Midlands, and his Deputy, Robin Grey, accompanied by the Arch of Steel, whose presence added further dignity to the occasion.

At the festive board that followed, members raised an impressive £130, which Paul generously donated to the Provincial Charity Fund, a gesture warmly received and appreciated by all.

The evening was a memorable and encouraging start to the new OSM year for Misterton Conclave No.520.
